When we did travel to our new area, we had a very limited time period to view and choose a home. We met with Deb who was fully prepared and provided us with the information we required and she had a well thought out plan to view the numerous properties within our parameters. During negotiations, Deb made herself completely available and was a terrific resource in providing strategies and options to successfully close the deal. I used Deb Robson and Diane Cardoso's (Ownanicehome) services to purchase my first home. Previously I had very impersonal experiences with different agents and I despaired of finding a nice home. A year or so prior to purchasing our home we had been out looking at homes with Diane and we were impressed by how methodical and detailed she was. We did not see anything we liked but throughout the year we continued to ook every now and then so we got to meet a variety of different REALTOR®s.

Buying a home for the first time is really stressful...at least that is what we've heard from a lot of our friends so far. But that has changed when Hardy and I finally decided to be on the bandwagon of first time homebuyers and met Diane and Deb who were referred to us by a friend.
If you would like to find a nice home that suits your needs, alleviate a lot of stress and still enjoy and have a lot of fun in the process, then we would recommend this tandem.
Diane particularly has spent extremely long hours (we don't know if she knows how to take a rest!) in making sure that we get the right house for us. Her attention to details is exemplary and she has the right touch to make you feel confident and comfortable with your decision. Diane and Deb has a great teamwork, they have guided us every step of the way and have excellent knowledge of the market. A very reliable team!
Diane has done a wonderful job in negotiating with our seller on our behalf, and marvelously closed the deal at a price less than what we have expected. She also managed to get the seller to agree to bear the costs of a new roof (that's $ savings for us!) and getting a credit for the repair of the washroom. The possession date is just a perfect time to us. She really has the knack of negotiating.
We have truly enjoyed working with this team (especially with Diane) and without any doubt we will definitely recommend them to future homebuyers.
